The five-day Forum of Women with Disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina was successfully completed in Medjugorje, which brought together women from all over the country with the aim of strengthening mutual support, exchange of experiences and joint action to advance the rights of women with disabilities.

Through focus groups, workshops, panels and joint activities, the participants discussed the challenges they face, issues of violence against women with disabilities, women's empowerment, development of the Network of Women with Disabilities and future initiatives and advocacy activities. Of particular importance was the work on strengthening the Women's Network, creating guidelines for its future development and selecting the management.

The forum took place in an atmosphere of togetherness, solidarity and activism, confirming that networking, support and a common voice are key to creating a more inclusive and equal society.
