The Coalition of Disabled Persons' Organizations of the Tuzla Canton and the Information Center for Disabled Persons "Lotos" Tuzla are joining a campaign of civil society organizations that is being implemented throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is related to the humanization of relations towards women giving birth in maternity hospitals throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal is to make childbirth a joy for everyone, and for women giving birth to go to maternity hospitals with joy instead of fear! We are sending a questionnaire that was created with the aim of collecting information and experiences of women throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina who had during or after childbirth. Women with disabilities are discriminated against and denied in relation to motherhood and the right to procreate, mostly due to community attitudes, and we want to change that. Alliances and support are important to us in this process in many ways. Knowing the role of women in the processes of raising new generations and the power of upbringing in the process of creating attitudes towards others and those who are different, we consider it extremely important to start building alliances that will help to achieve our goals more easily.

Let's be together and support women who have dared in the time we live in, to prolong life by bringing children into the world as the greatest treasure!

Questionnaire: Freedom to procreate

On the occasion of Women's Day 2022, civil society organizations and activists from BiH are focusing on the reproductive rights of women in BiH, with a special focus on the experiences of women during and after childbirth, with the aim of making maternity hospitals in BiH places where women will not go with a sense of fear, but with trust. In this regard, we have created a questionnaire with the aim of sharing information and experiences of women in labor throughout BiH.
