As part of the project: “Strengthening capacities for independent living of persons with disabilities in BiH” which IC “Lotos” is implementing with the Center for Independent Living STIL Sweden supported by MyRight and within the program of the City of Živinica: “Support for the work of the local action group (LAG) of young persons with disabilities (MOSI)”, two workshops were successfully held on the topic: “Teamwork and volunteering in organizations/associations”. The workshops covered the basics of communication, including getting to know the basics of sign language, problem solving and teamwork processes, and were implemented in the premises of Drama studio "Applause".

In addition to the workshops, peer support meetings were regularly organized from August to December 2024, where participants openly discussed challenges such as peer violence and discrimination.

The leader of the workshops and peer meetings was the president of the drama studio "Aplauz" Adi Glavinić.

These activities provided a space for mutual support and empowerment of children and youth with and without disabilities.
