We are pleased that on February 19, 2025, we successfully held another educational workshop at the “Solina” Elementary School in Tuzla as part of the “We Are All Different, We Are All Equal” project, which IC “Lotos” is implementing in cooperation with the International Association of “Interactive Open Schools” (MIOS). This workshop brought together students, teachers and school employees, who actively participated in interactive sessions aimed at promoting inclusive education. The focus of the workshop was on raising awareness about the importance of creating an accessible and supportive environment for all students, with a special emphasis on supporting children with disabilities.

During the workshop, teachers had the opportunity to focus on specific strategies for providing adequate assistance to students with different types of disabilities, while students were introduced to the topics of tolerance, respect and mutual support through various activities in groups. At the workshop, the basics of Braille, digital technology for the blind, the basics of sign language were presented, and brochures and manuals that will benefit inclusion in education were distributed.
