On December 18, 2024, a regular session of the Steering Board of the Union of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities in BiH was held in Teslić, where members discussed key issues and activities.

The session analyzed the Second Congress of Persons with Disabilities in BiH, with special emphasis on the conclusions and results that will contribute to the further promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities. The President of the Board of Directors reported on his participation in the regular session of the Board of Directors of the European Disability Forum, held in November 2024 in Madrid.

The session also discussed the implementation of activities within projects in which the Union participates. Special emphasis was placed on the work and strengthening of the Youth Network and the Network of Women with Disabilities, recognized as key platforms for strengthening the rights and position of these groups in society.

Also, the members considered the admission of new organizations to the Union's membership, as well as making decisions on the exclusion of those members that have not fulfilled their statutory obligations to pay membership fees.

One of the central topics was the planning of the Third Congress of Persons with Disabilities, which will be held next year and which will continue to promote the inclusion and equality of persons with disabilities in society.
