On April 4, 2016, starting at 11:00 a.m., a meeting of the Coalition of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities of the Tuzla Canton was held in the premises of the Information Center for Persons with Disabilities "Lotos" with the aim of reaching clear agreements on the implementation of a public advocacy campaign for a just society and equal opportunities for all under the title “Proud of yourself”. 

The main goal of advocacy activities within the campaign is aimed at amendments Decisions on a single list of orthopedic and other aids so that it better meets the needs of persons with disabilities, in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the principles accepted by representatives of the five coalitions that will implement the campaign.

The meeting was attended by twelve representatives of member organizations of the Coalition of PWDs of TK and individuals were identified who, as members of the working group, will participate in the analysis of the current Decision on a unified list of orthopedic and other aids so that it can be changed or amended and harmonized with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

It was also agreed at the meeting that the campaign will officially begin with a press conference and campaign announcement to be held on April 14, 2016, and the public will be informed in due course about the location of the press conference.
