In the premises of the Information Center for Persons with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla, on December 26, 2024, an inspiring meeting of Active Youth Coalition of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities of the Tuzla Canton was held.

At the meeting, we reviewed all the activities and valuable work during this year that is coming to an end. We exchanged experiences and successes that we have achieved in local communities across our canton, as well as in the education and trainings in which young people participated.

Also, new members were selected for the administration of our site, and it was agreed to continue the activity of writing and publishing the personal stories of Active members. Every month we will share new experiences of young people, talking about all the obstacles they have overcome as people with disabilities on the way to achieving their goals. The importance of providing support and friendship to each other at all times was emphasized, as well as that diversity should be the greatest benefit, not a reason for prejudice. This group of exceptional young people, with their dedication, together creates a community that is strong, united and not afraid of challenges.

Once again, the meeting of young people with disabilities sent a positive message of togetherness and support, towards a new age where disability issues will be treated as issues of basic human rights and people with disabilities will live independently and with dignity.

The meeting was held as part of the MyRight Sweden support program for the work of coalitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
