Any violence, whether economic, psychological, physical or sexual, that occurs because a person is a member of a certain gender is considered gender-based violence.

...and have you ever wondered if people with disabilities survive the mentioned types of violence, because they are not able, or do not want to fulfill social gender stereotypes?

We are. In Teslić, at the Kardijal Hotel, the implementation of the project "Gender-based Violence against Persons with Disabilities" began on July 2 and 3 of this year. With this project, we will shed light on the extent of gender-based violence against persons with disabilities, and examine how potentially interested institutions and organizations recognize and prevent this type of violence.
