On August 30, 2022, a meeting was held at the premises of the Information Center for Persons with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla to mark the start of the project "Equal Opportunities for Young Persons with Disabilities", which was attended by 16 young persons with disabilities.

At the meeting, the young people got to know each other and introduced themselves, and in a nice atmosphere actively participated in the discussion. They talked about the needs, plans and desires they have in life, as well as the lack of opportunities and barriers that hinder them in their lives from exercising their rights and equal participation in the community. The young people were encouraged to work and showed their willingness to actively engage in activities aimed at strengthening their abilities and potential, and they also recognized the need to acquire knowledge in the field of legal regulations and the rights of persons with disabilities.

The project "Equal Opportunities for Young People with Disabilities" is financially supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of the Tuzla Canton and the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
