As part of the joint activities of the MyRight program 2015-2017, and within the campaign for equal opportunities #PonosniNaSebe, the Coalition of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities of Tuzla Canton organized a working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Health of Tuzla Canton and the Health Insurance Institute of Tuzla Canton on December 28, 2016.

On behalf of the Minister of Health of the Canton of Tuzla, the meeting was attended by Amir Azabagić, advisor to the Minister, and on behalf of the Canton of Tuzla Health Insurance Institute, the meeting was attended by Mirjana Aničić Duhaček and Amila Bećirović, advisor physicians.

The meeting discussed the proposal for amendments to the Decision on the scope of the right to use orthopedic and other aids and the Decision on a single list of orthopedic and other aids, which were submitted to the competent institutions, namely the Health Insurance Institute of Tuzla Canton and the Ministry of Health of Tuzla Canton by the Coalition of Persons with Disabilities of Tuzla Canton within the #PonosniNaSebe campaign.

Representatives of the Ministry of Health and the TZI shared with those present the information that the proposals for the Decision on the scope of the right to use orthopedic and other aids and the Decision on a single list of orthopedic and other aids is in the adoption procedure of the Government of the Canton of Tuzla and is expected to be adopted soon so that it can be valid from the beginning of 2017.

Information was also shared that due to the limited funds available to the ZZO TK, not all amendments and supplements proposed by the Coalition of OOSO TK could be accepted, but it was expressed that meetings between representatives of the ZZO TK and the Coalition of OOSO TK would be intensified in the future in order to work together step by step on harmonizing and revising the above-mentioned documents.
