The Coalition of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities of the Canton of Tuzla held a press conference at the premises of the "Lotos" Center on December 2, 2024.

The aim of the press conference was to present a plan for a series of activities that the Coalition will implement on the occasion of the traditional celebration of the upcoming December 3, 2024 - the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

At the press conference, the president of the Coalition of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities of the Tuzla Canton, Suvad Zahirović, spoke about the position of persons with disabilities and the importance of promoting rights in the field of disability. Also, the president of the Association for Mutual Assistance in Mental Distress of the Tuzla Canton "Fenix" Vahid Đulović emphasized the importance of working to improve mental health and the position of persons with psychosocial disabilities.

Young people with disabilities and activists of IC "Lotos" Senaida Sarajlić and Armin Babović emphasized the importance of new leadership and new initiatives from the position of young people with disabilities, with awareness of the need for young people to take on roles and responsibilities for achieving a sustainable and inclusive future.
