The celebration of International Human Rights Day - December 10, 2024 was held at the National Theater in Tuzla, organized by the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH and the Agency for Gender Equality of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Information Center for Persons with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla and the Association of Roma Women "Better Future" of the City of Tuzla, with technical assistance from the project "EU for Inclusion in BiH".

As part of the event, a group of children, led by director Adi Glavinić from the Drama Studio "Applause", performed a play in spoken and sign language "Wing and Paw", based on the poem of the same name by Nasiha Kapidžić - Hadžić. The play was prepared as a performance supported by the City of Tuzla as part of its support for events, entitled: "Hands Speak".

The picturesque performance of the hardworking little actors was full of positive messages and aspects of freedom and acceptance of diversity.

The project "Hands speak" aims to improve access to cultural content for children with disabilities from the area of the city of Tuzla, as well as the promotion of inclusion and togetherness through the beauty of art.

The play met with excellent reactions from the audience and confirms the importance of accepting diversity, which is an example to every child that through the main characters of the play they can overcome prejudices and learn more about cultivating friendship and preserving their own values.
