Thanks to modest financial resources provided by STIL, the Swedish Center for Independent Living for People with Disabilities in Stockholm, and thanks to many years of cooperation with "Mission Without Borders" and the Evangelical Church in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" from Tuzla continues its assistance to individuals with disabilities and organizations of people with disabilities in the flooded areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This time, the assistance is reflected in the distribution of hygiene packages for individuals, people with disabilities in the municipalities of Doboj Jug, Zenica and other municipalities of the Tuzla Canton.

"We believe that our action to help people with disabilities will encourage other much more influential organizations and institutions to direct part of their activities in the areas where they work to help people affected by floods to meeting the needs of people with disabilities," said Fikreta Hasanović, coordinator for aid distribution at IC "Lotos".
