It is with great sadness and disbelief that we received the news of the death of our friend, collaborator and prominent activist in the disability movement, Branko Suzić.

The information center for people with disabilities "Lotos" had the honor of collaborating with Branko since the year 2000. From the very beginning, our relationship was based on mutual respect, support, sincere friendship and, above all, on the warm human relationship that Branko knew how to build with everyone around him.
During all the years of working together, we met a man who was adorned with patience, dedication, professionalism, humanity and kindness. He was a person who showed by his example that changes are achieved through persistence, cooperation and respect for every human being.

The movement of persons with disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina has lost one of its most recognizable and dedicated activists - an advocate of rights, dignity and equal opportunities for all persons with disabilities, regardless of the type of disability, place of residence, political affiliation or ethnic divisions that still burden our society today. Branko believed that human rights are universal and that the dignity of every human being must be above all differences.
His passing leaves a huge void in the hearts of all of us who had the privilege of knowing him, working with him, and learning from him. We will remember him not only for his achievements and tireless efforts, but also for his smile, kind words, and willingness to always support others.
We believe that his colleagues, friends and associates will continue to cherish the values ​​that Branko stood for – mutual respect, cooperation, solidarity and a joint fight for equality for people with disabilities. This will be the most beautiful way to preserve his memory and continue to build the society he himself aspired to.

We send our sincere condolences to his family, friends, co-workers and everyone who loved him.
Rest in peace, dear Branko. Thank you for everything you have done for the movement of people with disabilities and for all the people whose lives you have enriched with your work, friendship and humanity. Your legacy will live on through all those who continue the path you selflessly stood for.
