Yesterday, an extremely productive peer session was held in Cazin, organized by the Cazin Dystrophy Association, within the framework of the project "Together for independent life", which is realized in partnership with the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla and the Municipal Organization of the Blind and Visually Impaired Teslić, within the framework of the joint United Nations project "Dialogue for the Future 3".

The meeting was attended by 17 participants, and the focus of the discussion was on the introduction and systemic advocacy for the personal assistance service, as a key prerequisite for the independent life of people with disabilities.

An important step towards concrete results:

After an open dialogue about the importance and needs for personal assistance and help at home, the representatives of the city administration expressed great willingness and interest in supporting these services through their big upcoming project. The Cazin dystrophy association will supervise its implementation in the field in agreement with the users.

"The meeting was extremely productive and we believe that the agreements will bring concrete and efficient results for the community in Cazin," said Hasmir Delić, president of the Association.
