The campaign is implemented within the framework of the project "Creating policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina with respect for human rights and the rights of persons with disabilities", who conduct I.C. "Lotos" Tuzla and the Association of Blind Cantons of Sarajevo, with financial support from the European Union.

During the press conference, the goals and activities of the campaign were presented, as well as the key challenges that people with disabilities face on a daily basis. It was emphasized that the rights of persons with disabilities are not privileges, but basic human rights that belong to everyone.

Special emphasis was placed on the fact that almost 300,000 people with disabilities live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who continue to face numerous obstacles - from limited access to education and employment, to the lack of adequate support and services in the community.

Participants and promoters of the campaign, people with disabilities and human rights advocates, shared their personal experiences and pointed to the need for systemic changes, greater responsibility of institutions and stronger community support.

The campaign "Your rights are my rights" places a special focus on young people and women with disabilities, highlighting their important role as active advocates of change and equal participants in society.

The organizers called on the media, institutions and citizens to support this initiative and actively contribute to building a society where equality, solidarity and respect for human dignity are the basis of common progress.

The campaign's message remains clear and strong: the rights of people with disabilities are human rights and they concern us all – because your rights are my rights too.
