In the period from June 23 to 25, 2026, the second workshop was held in the Hollywood Hotel on Ilidža (Sarajevo) within the project "Together for independent life" entitled "Inter-entity cooperation, message creation and public performance", which is realized with the support of UNICEF. The organizer of the workshop was the Lotos Information Center.
The workshop brought together 23 participants, including 13 young people with disabilities, with equal representation of both genders.
The aim of the workshop was to improve the knowledge and skills of young people with disabilities in the field of public speaking, effective communication with the media and communication with decision makers. Through interactive work, practical exercises and exchange of experiences, participants had the opportunity to develop self-confidence and adopt tools that will help them to more successfully represent their rights and participate more actively in social processes. The collaboration with Bojana Mrkić, a trainer from Media Center Sarajevo, gave the workshop a special value, which opens up opportunities for future joint activities in the field of developing communication and media competencies of young people with disabilities. The workshop took place in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere, and the participants acquired new practical knowledge and skills that they will be able to apply in their further personal and professional development.
