The information center for people with disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla, in the period from April 15 to 17 at the hotel "Kardial" in Teslić, successfully implemented a training for people with disabilities who want to take an active role in the community as leaders of mutual support groups.
During the training, the participants through interactive sessions and practical exercises developed the skills of facilitation, active listening, communication and providing support through a peer approach - an approach based on equality, mutual understanding and sharing of experiences.
Through open dialogue, exchange of knowledge and experiences, participants built capacities for empowering other people with disabilities in their local communities. One of the particularly interesting activities was an interactive workshop on the preparation of fruit salad - a symbol of togetherness, creativity and teamwork.
We would like to thank all the participants for their dedication, enthusiasm and mutual support, as well as the staff who contributed to the successful realization of the training.

With this training, we further strengthened the foundations for building a more inclusive society in which people with disabilities have an active role, voice and space for action.
