With the aim of contributing to the preparation of children with various types of disabilities in the City of Tuzla for independent living and equal participation in the community, the Information Center for Persons with Disabilities "Lotos" at the "Terme Ozren" hotel from August 26 to 28 implemented a "Small School of Independent Living", with financial support from the City of Tuzla. Through the "Small School of Independent Living", participants were introduced to the concepts and philosophy of independent living in a creative and adapted way, and all activities were designed with the aim of developing children's motivation for independence and acquiring various skills.

Children and parents actively participated in the activities and showed interest and willingness, and the project will contribute to building and strengthening the capacities of children with disabilities to prepare themselves for life and independence in the future to the greatest extent possible, in accordance with their capabilities.
