Information center for people with disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla in cooperation with STIL – personal assistance and political influence, has been implementing the project "Strengthening the capacity for independent living of persons with disabilities in BiH" for years, financed by MyRight, with the belief that every person deserves the right to an independent, dignified and quality life. Our mission is to provide young people with disabilities with the necessary support so that they can realize their full potential and be equal members of society. Through our mentoring program, trainings, study visits, education and other project activities, we work to increase the skills and capacities of young people with disabilities, enabling them to strengthen themselves for an independent life. Through these activities, we emphasize the importance of human rights, dignity and equal opportunities for people with disabilities, because we believe that only through the empowerment of each individual can we build a more inclusive society. Empowering young people is not only providing new knowledge and skills, but also creating a sense of security and confidence that they have the capacity to make their own decisions and shape their lives. Regardless of the obstacles, every young person deserves to have access to the resources and support that will enable them to live life on their own terms and desires.

Independence is key to human dignity, and our goal, through continuous support, is to help young people with disabilities overcome challenges, achieve their goals and become leaders in their own lives.

We continue to strive resolutely to create a world in which the rights, dignity and independence of all people, regardless of disability, will not be just a dream, but a reality.
