You have a new issue of the magazine in front of you. INITIATIVE, number 161, which once again brings topics important for everyday life, the rights and position of people with disabilities.

In this issue, we talk about the extent to which the right to vacation is really available to people with disabilities, but also about the broader issue of inclusive tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Accessibility does not mean only a ramp or an elevator - it implies the possibility for each person to use tourist, cultural and other facilities independently, safely and with dignity.

We also bring stories that show the strength, perseverance and possibilities of people with disabilities. Through the experiences of young women, the topics of gender equality and employment, we remind you that obstacles are often not the result of disability, but social attitudes, an inaccessible environment and a lack of equal opportunities. It is especially important to hear the voice of women with disabilities who insist on visibility, equality and active participation in society.

We also pay special attention to the employment of people with disabilities, because economic independence is one of the key prerequisites for a dignified and independent life. Examples from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe show that with appropriate support from institutions, employers and the community, people with disabilities can realize their professional potential.

We believe that this issue of INITIATIVE can also be a space for information, exchange of experiences and initiation of new issues. Because a society without barriers is not created just by passing laws - it is built every day, by changing attitudes, removing obstacles and creating equal opportunities for everyone.

Let's read, speak, act, and together create a society in which diversity is not an obstacle, but a value.
