Dear readers, the new, 154th issue of the magazine "Inicijativa" has been published.
In this issue, we share the sadness of the passing of the extraordinary fighter for the dignity of people with disabilities, Adolf Ratzka. We talk about challenges, obstacles, and people with disabilities who overcome boundaries and obstacles through personal development and contribution to the community.
On the path of fighting for the values of independent living, young people with disabilities tell us about their experiences from participating in this year's Freedom Drive in Brussels, where our representatives showed that dedication and activism bring important changes for the well-being of people with disabilities.
We also point out important dates that symbolize the fight for the rights of people with various types of disabilities, with the message that awareness of inclusion and equality of people with disabilities must be present every day in society.
We also present professions practiced by people with disabilities who have proven that, regardless of disability, it is possible to fulfill dreams and desires in choosing a job and their position in the labor market.
The cartoons about the hard work and activities of organizations in the movement of people with disabilities are a clear indicator that the community and the system, through adequate respect for rights and the provision of equal opportunities, have an important resource in people with disabilities for growth, progress and the creation of a quality society.
