On Wednesday, Gradačac had the opportunity to learn about the importance of independent living for young people with disabilities!

Information center Lotos realized another street action within the campaign "Youth for an independent life!"
During this event, information leaflets were distributed that emphasize the importance of enabling young people with disabilities to live independently for their personal development and improvement of their quality of life, but also for their active contribution to the entire community.
In this way, we are spreading awareness about the steps that need to be taken in order to ensure that young people with disabilities have the necessary prerequisites to live independently, and we emphasize the establishment of a personal assistance service as an imperative.
This service is not something that contributes only to young people with disabilities, it represents support for the entire society, for each individual when it is necessary, preserving the integrity and the choice of each person.
The campaign is implemented as part of the project "Together for Independent Life" implemented by the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" in partnership with the Municipal Organization of the Blind and Visually Impaired in Teslić and the Dystrophy Association Cazin.

The activities are being carried out within the framework of the project “Dialogue for the Future 3 – #dff3“, which are being implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina, UNICEF Bosnia and HerzegovinaIn UNESCO Venice, in cooperation with the Resident Coordinator of the UN, and in partnership with the BiH Presidency and the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs. The project is financed UN Peacebuilding and Peace Support UN Secretary General's Peace Building Fund (PBF).
