Teachers and associates of the University of Tuzla created an animated film inspired by the story "Jonathan from Seagull Mountain" by Jens Ahlbom, together with the accompanying curriculum for its application in the educational environment.

The animated film and the curriculum were created as part of a scientific research project "Inclusive Platform: Empathy, Inclusion and Equality through Digital Art", funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science in the period 2024–2025. The project was implemented by the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation and the Academy of Dramatic Arts of the University of Tuzla, in partnership with the Information Center for Persons with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla.

Based on the research conducted, a sample curriculum was developed that offers guidance to primary school teachers on how to use film in teaching, especially within class community lessons and other teaching activities, with the aim of fostering empathy, understanding of diversity and inclusion.
