On October 13, 2026, in the premises of the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla, a peer support session for young people with disabilities was held, dedicated to the topic sexuality.
Through an open conversation, exchange of opinions and experiences, the participants had the opportunity to discuss an important topic concerning personal identity, relationships, rights and freedom to make one's own decisions.
Such sessions provide a safe space for asking questions, sharing experiences, and offering mutual support, while respecting the diverse opinions and experiences of young people.
Six participants attended the session.
Conversation without prejudice, mutual trust and peer support are important steps towards greater self-confidence, information and equal participation of young people with disabilities in all aspects of life.
