Training for young people with disabilities and workshops for their family members

In the Hotel "Pahuljica" in Vlašić, in the period from June 29, 2018 to July 1, 2018, training for young people with disabilities and a workshop for their parents and family members were held.
The MOSI training was attended by 12 participants, and the topic was “Future leaders of the movement for independent living of persons with disabilities in BiH”, and the lecturer was Ira Adilagić, a master of psychology. The participants in the training worked on acquiring leadership skills, stimulating and motivating the team and participants, and gained the skill conducting meetings, etc.
Also, 16 participants attended the workshop for parents and family members of young people with disabilities, and for members of IC "Lotos", and the goal of the workshop was to master and improve presentation skills, topics related to public relations, and as part of the workshop, a public relations plan was drawn up. The lecturer at the workshop was Master of Communication Uma Isić.
The training and workshop are being implemented as part of the project "Strengthening capacities for independent living of people with disabilities in BiH", which IC "Lotos" is implementing in partnership with the Swedish organization STIL from Stockholm, which is funded by MyRight Empowers People with Disabilities and is part of the MyRight 2018 - 2021 program in BiH.
The training and workshop took place in a positive atmosphere, the participants actively did exercises in groups and participated in the discussion, sharing experiences with each other.
