From December 23 to 25, 2024, the Information Center “Lotos” Tuzla organized a training for young people in Terme “Ozren” with the aim of empowering and educating them on key aspects of independent living. On the first day, Melisa Papić, a pedagogue and psychologist by profession, held a workshop on the skills needed for successful independent living. On the second day, Dr. sci. Zumreta Galijašević Baluković spoke about economic challenges and financial management within independent living. The training concluded with a workshop dedicated to personal development and psychological strengthening, led by project manager Sandra Marković. This training was an opportunity for young people to gain knowledge, tools and skills that will help them build a safe and fulfilling independent life. We would like to thank the participants for their active contribution and enthusiasm. The training was held as part of the project "Strengthening capacities for independent living of persons with disabilities in BiH" which IC "Lotos" is implementing in partnership with the Center for Independent Living STIL with the support of MyRight Sweden, as well as the Government of TK and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of FBiH.
