Foundation for Social Inclusion in Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter referred to as: SIF in BiH) announces a public call for the selection of projects whose objectives focus on reducing poverty and social exclusion of target groups. The program includes financing of projects that meet the following mandatory criteria:

1. The project applicant for the competition can only be a BiH non-governmental organization, and international organizations, private persons or individuals, public institutions and companies cannot be project applicants for the competition;
2. The project is in accordance with Operational guidelines for NGO projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or the tender documentation that available on the SIF website in BiH;
3. The project is implemented in partnership between a non-governmental organization and at least one public institution. Other partners in the project may be other non-governmental organizations, public institutions, government institutions, as well as private companies;
4. One non-governmental organization can submit only one project proposal in the capacity of holder;
5. The amount for which the FSU in BiH is applied must be in the range of 20,000.00 - 70,000.00 KM;
6. The organization submitting the project must ensure co-financing from domestic sources (this includes public institutions at all levels, and/or funds from the budgets of municipal, cantonal, entity or state levels of government), at least in the same amount as the SIF in BiH is applied for (for more detailed explanation, see the SIF in BiH Operational Guidelines);
7. The duration of the projects is 7 months, and they should be implemented in the period from 15.06.2012 to 15.01.2013.;
8. The project is focused on at least one of the priority areas of the SIF in BiH that supports NGO activities related to the social inclusion of the following target groups:
   • People with disabilities
   • Families with multiple children and children from vulnerable groups
   • Elderly people
   • Minorities
   • Women
   • Employment of unemployed people (with a special focus on young and newly unemployed people)
9. The project was submitted in the prescribed format (available on the SIF website in BIH) including all associated annexes;
10. The completed application (available on the SFI website in BiH) with all additional documentation must be submitted in 1 original version and 3 copies (in one of the official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina) in a sealed envelope by registered mail or in person during business days (Monday - Friday) no later than 11.05.2012 to the following address:Branilaca Sarajeva 47, 71000 Sarajevo, Foundation for Social Inclusion in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the indication: Project proposal

The evaluation of project proposals will be carried out in accordance with SIF in BiH Operational guidelines for NGO projects in Bosnia and HerzegovinaAll applicants will be notified of the selection results within 60 days from the closing date of the Call for Tender. Successful applicants will conclude project contracts with the SIF in BiH.
