On November 6 and 7, a European conference on independent living and inclusion of persons with disabilities in the community is being held, in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the EU Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030.

Participants from all over Europe are discussing important topics such as: support for independent living, affordable and adaptable housing, accessibility of public spaces, financial sustainability of the support system.

The aim of the conference is to exchange experiences, present good practices, and provide suggestions for future EU initiatives that will ensure greater independence, equality, and inclusion of people with disabilities in society.

Representatives of the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla participate in the event.
