It is 10/19/2026 in Teslić. in the premises of the Teslić Municipal Organization of the Blind and Visually Impaired, an extremely productive peer session was held within the project "Together for Independent Life".

This project is implemented in partnership with the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla and the Association of Dystrophists Cazin, and as part of the United Nations joint project "Dialogue for the Future 3".

At the meeting, the focus of the conversation was on the introduction and systemic advocacy for the personal assistance service, as a key prerequisite for an independent and dignified life for people with disabilities. Through an open discussion and exchange of experiences, the participants emphasized the importance of the joint struggle for the realization of rights that enable equal participation in society.

The project "Together for Independent Life" is implemented by the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla in partnership with the Cazin Dystrophy Association and the Blind and Visually Impaired Organization Teslić.

The activities are carried out within the framework of the project "Dialogue for the Future 3 - #dff3", which is carried out by UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina, UNICEF Bosnia and Herzegovina and UNESCO Venice, in cooperation with the Resident Coordinator of the UN, and in partnership with the Presidency of BiH and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH. The project is financed by UN Peacebuilding and Peace Support - the UN Secretary General's Peacebuilding Fund (PBF).
