At the "Mionica" Ranch in Gradačac, on October 27, 2026, the third workshop module called "Nonviolent Communication" was held, organized by the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla. The workshop brought together young people with and without disabilities, with the aim of developing communication skills, fostering mutual understanding, and finding ways to resolve disagreements peacefully.

Through interactive and practical work, the participants discussed the differences between violent and non-violent communication, recognizing situations that can lead to conflict and the importance of timely and appropriate response. Group activities allowed young people to express their own opinions, share experiences and jointly explore ways in which misunderstandings can be overcome through conversation, appreciation and mutual respect.

The workshop was led by Almedina Hodžić, while Ervin Ćosić, Armin Babović, Semir Baluković and Ramza Dautović participated in front of I.C. "Lotos" Tuzla, in the role of moderators and support for the realization of the activity.

The special value of the workshop was reflected in the relaxed atmosphere that encouraged open conversation, active participation and connecting young people. Through joint work, the participants had the opportunity to become aware of how important listening, understanding different attitudes and controlling one's own reactions are for building quality relationships and preventing conflicts.

During the meeting, they also discussed the possibilities of future cooperation, including the joint celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is celebrated on December 3. The exchange of ideas and the establishment of contacts with school representatives opened up space for continued cooperation and realization of joint activities aimed at inclusion and active participation of young people in the community.

The "Nonviolent Communication" workshop has once again demonstrated that understanding, trust, and mutual respect are developed through conversation, shared experience, and a willingness to listen to one another.

The activity was realized at the "Mionica" Ranch in Gradačac, with the support of the City of Gradačac and the Government of TK.

Together, we are learning to build bridges through conversation, rather than obstacles.
