Workshop on the use of AI technology

As part of the MyRight - Empowers people with disabilities program to support the work of coalitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Coalition of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities TK held a workshop on the use of AI technology for people with disabilities on September 14 and 15, 2026 at the BIT Center in Tuzla, as part of the planned activities.

The workshop was led by Assoc. Dr. Alma Šećerbegović from the GirlTHing Association.

At the workshop, people with disabilities used practical examples and discussion to learn together and explore how artificial intelligence can serve as a useful form of support in daily life, education, work, and various other areas.

Special attention is paid to learning how to write a good prompt and get better answers from AI tools. Participants learned about four key parts of a good prompt: role - who we want the AI ​​to be, task - what we want it to do, context - the information the AI ​​currently has in front of it, and constraints - what to consider and what rules to follow.

We also talked about what context is, how tokens work and how to use context wisely when working with AI tools. One of the practical rules that we have singled out is: new task - new chat, and one chat - one main topic.

A particularly important part of the workshop was about the safe and responsible use of AI technology. We learned what should never be entered at the prompt, such as passwords and PINs, bank card numbers, access data, JMBG and ID numbers, as well as other sensitive user data.

We also talked about different types of AI technologies and their possibilities, and how they can represent important support for people with disabilities in communication, learning, work, creativity, access to information and everyday life.

The goal is not only to learn how to use new technology, but to understand how to use it smartly, safely, and in accordance with one's own needs.
