Peer sastanak za osobe u trećoj životnoj dobi

At a peer meeting for seniors, held on August 31, 2026 at I.C. "Lotos", we discussed topics that are part of everyday life, but which we sometimes don't talk about enough.

We talked about daily activities and what we still want, can and would like to do, but sometimes we stop because we want to be careful and "take self-care".

We talked specifically about self-love and self-care – about how important it is to listen to your own needs, nurture yourself, and give yourself the right to pleasure, rest, and activities that fulfill you.

We also touched on setting boundaries – how to say "no" when we don't want something, how to stand up for ourselves, and how to care for others without forgetting our own needs.

This was another nice and open gathering, filled with conversation, experiences, and mutual support.

Because self-care has no age. It's never too late to give yourself attention, respect, and love.

The meeting was held with the support of Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, MyRight – Empowers people with disabilities, the Government of Tuzla Canton and the City of Tuzla.
