The information center for people with disabilities "Lotos" from Tuzla invites young people with disabilities from Bosnia and Herzegovina to apply for participation in the regional project "Connected Voices: Youth with Disabilities Shaping Change Together", which brings together young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro with the aim of strengthening their leadership capacities, connecting with each other and jointly advocating for a more inclusive society.
The project is jointly implemented by the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" (Bosnia and Herzegovina), the Forum of Disabled Youth (Serbia) and the Cetinje Association of Paraplegics (Montenegro).
The project's activities were financed through the Joint Action of the Western Balkans Fund and the European Union, within the framework of the Call for Regional Project Proposals - Grant for Grassroot Initiatives.
What does the project offer?
As part of the project, a total of 18 young people with disabilities will be selected, six each from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro, who will have the opportunity to:
The project is based on the belief that young people with disabilities are the bearers of positive changes in their communities and that through regional cooperation they can more strongly advocate the realization of their rights and actively contribute to the development of a more inclusive society.
