On June 5, 2026, a solemn event "Our first 10" was held in Sarajevo's Home of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which marked the first decade of work and activities of the Youth Council of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event was attended by about 100 young people from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, including representatives of the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla, Armin Babović and Ervin Ćosić.
During the ceremony, the most important results and the mission of the FBiH Youth Council achieved in the past ten years, as well as work and development plans for the coming period, were presented. A special part of the program was the ceremony of awarding recognition to organizations that, through their activities, make a significant contribution to working with young people and creating space for their active participation in the community.
Among the five organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina that received special recognition was the Information Center for People with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla, which once again confirmed the importance of the organization's long-term work on creating an inclusive environment and empowering young people, including young people with disabilities.
Representatives of I.C. "Lotos" also participated as presenters, and the event was an opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new contacts and discuss future activities. The agreement on launching a mentoring program intended for employees and persons engaged in work with young people is particularly significant.
The "Our First 10" ceremony was an opportunity to recognize organizations and individuals who contribute to the creation of better conditions for young people with their work, but also to confirm the common commitment to building an active, inclusive and solidary society.
