During February and March 2026, we implemented mentoring support for Selma Plančić with the aim of strengthening the capacity for independent planning and organization of events.
The mentoring process was led by Zumreta Galijašević Baluković through an individual approach, practical work and continuous consultations focused on the development of organizational, communication and presentation skills.

As a result of the mentoring process, an event for women with disabilities was successfully realized on March 5, 2026, in which the participants expressed their personal experiences, emotions and attitudes about the problem of silencing women with disabilities through poetry and prose.
During the implementation of the event, Selma Plančić independently coordinated the organization of space, participants, content and logistics, which further improved her organizational skills and self-confidence for future engagement in similar activities.
The mentoring process once again demonstrated the importance of individual support and practical work in empowering women with disabilities for active participation and public action.
The program is implemented through the Empowerment of Women with Disabilities Program I.C. Lotos, within the Network of Women from the Union of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the support of the European Disability Forum, Kynnys ry and Trag fondacija/ OAK Foundation.
