This 160th issue of the publication Initiative brings a selection of texts that, through personal stories, analyses and reports, indicate the position of people with disabilities in society, with a special focus on the experiences of women and young people. Through topics such as multiple discrimination, violence, parenthood, education and employment, the publication opens up space for understanding the real challenges faced by people with disabilities, but also for recognizing their potential and successes.

U tekstovima se smjenjuju istraživanja, intervjui i inspirativne životne priče koje pokazuju koliko su podrška okruženja, dostupnost usluga i razvoj asistivnih tehnologija važni za samostalan i dostojanstven život. Poseban segment posvećen je i aktivnostima organizacija i mreža koje kroz zagovaranje, edukacije i javnu kampanju “Tvoja prava su i moja prava” doprinose izgradnji inkluzivnijeg društva.

The publication is therefore not just a review of events and information, but also a call for understanding, solidarity and joint action in creating a society of equal opportunities for all.
