On March 25, 2025, the OSCE mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a round table in Tuzla: "Assessment of the impact of the new FBiH Law on material rights and the increase of the minimum wage on persons with disabilities in TK", which was attended by representatives of I.C. "Lotus" Tuzla.

Challenges and opportunities for improving the employment of people with disabilities in the Tuzla Canton were discussed at the round table. Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, the Employment Office, organizations and companies that employ people with disabilities exchanged opinions and proposals for overcoming current challenges. Some of the key conclusions include the need to connect employment companies and organizations of people with disabilities with the Chamber of Commerce and the Employment Office in order to jointly try to find solutions, improve access to EU funds, strengthen cooperation between organizations of people with disabilities and employers, and harmonize working conditions with the capabilities and needs of people with disabilities. It was particularly emphasized that it is important to actively participate in the public debate on the new draft law on employment of persons with disabilities, in order to ensure rights and support for this category of workers. All those present agreed that concrete measures and support from the authorities and institutions are needed in order to create better conditions for the employment of people with disabilities.
