The first meeting of the Working Group for monitoring the realization of the GAP of the City of Tuzla

On March 21, 2025, our president attended the first meeting of the Working Group for Monitoring the Implementation of the Gender Action Plan (GAP) of the City of Tuzla. The meeting was held in the pleasant atmosphere of the Grand Hotel Tuzla, and was organized by the Center for Education and Research "NAHLA" and DVV International, with the support of the City of Tuzla.

The focus of the workshop was on the analysis of the reasons why women in Tuzla have a lower employment rate, as well as on progress in the implementation of GAP. The key theme was creating equal opportunities for all women. They discussed the way of creating a report on the implementation of GAP activities, which will help in further evaluation and monitoring of progress.

"This meeting represents the beginning of a new era in the fight for equality in Tuzla. We have taken an important step for our organization and for women with disabilities towards achieving an equal position for this population," said our president, dr. sc. Zumreta Galijašević Baluković.

Our organization remains dedicated to monitoring the realization of goals and achieving equality for women with disabilities through this important plan.
