The Information Center for Persons with Disabilities “Lotos” from Tuzla and the Association of the Blind of the Sarajevo Canton brought together representatives of the authorities, organizations of persons with disability and public institutions/institutions at an initial meeting in Sarajevo aimed at contributing to the development of public policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of disability based on the concept of human rights outlined in international documents. The meeting is part of the Project 'Creating Policies in BiH with Respect for Human Rights and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities', which is being implemented with financial support from the EU, and should ensure that decision-makers demonstrate a better understanding and implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
