On July 5, 2022, a Peer Support meeting for young people with disabilities was held at the "Autor" restaurant in Tuzla, attended by 25 participants. The meeting for young people was led by Amela Goletić and discussed the successes and changes that young people have achieved and the benefits that Peer meetings bring them. A smaller group of young people, together with the project coordinator Sandra Marković, discussed project proposals that they would like to implement in the future.


At the same time, a Peer Support meeting for parents and family members of young people with disabilities was held at the Sezam restaurant, led by Amira Salković and attended by 15 participants. At the meeting, parents shared their experiences from participating in the project and joint meetings, as well as plans for the future.



Peer Support meetings were held as part of the project "Strengthening capacities for independent living of persons with disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina" which is being implemented by the Information Center for Persons with Disabilities "Lotos" Tuzla in cooperation with the Center for Independent Living STIL from Stockholm as part of the program of the organization MyRight BiH.
