As part of the project "Strengthening capacities for independent living of persons with disabilities in BiH", the 4th Peer Support Session (experiential support) for young people with disabilities, as well as their parents, was held on July 17, 2019, at the premises of the IC "Lotos" Tuzla. The session for young people with disabilities was led by Senaida Sarajlić and was attended by 24 young people with disabilities.
The session was attended by young people with disabilities who had already completed the program within the project, as well as studentsdreamers of the new cycle who shared their experiences and discussed the obstacles and problems they face in life. Young people with disabilities from the previous cycle shared their experiences from the project, presented their life stories and situations they experienced before. They shared with others how now they can clearly recognize where they were wrong, while today they can accept all the challenges that life with a disability brings and advocate for their rights with much more confidence.

The session for parents of young people with disabilities was led by Sandra Marković, an employee of IC "Lotos", and was attended by 12 participants.

The project "Strengthening capacities for independent living of persons with disabilities in BiH" is being implemented by the Information Center for Persons with Disabilities "Lotos" in partnership with the Center for Independent Living STIL from Stockholm and within the framework of the MyRight BiH program.
