Today, October 13, 2017, at the premises of the Tuzla Canton Health Insurance Institute, a meeting was held between the Coalition of OOSI Tuzla Canton and the Tuzla Canton Health Insurance Institute, as well as representatives of the Tuzla Canton Ministry of Health.

On behalf of the Coalition of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities, the meeting was attended by the chairman of the Coalition of OOSI TK Suvad Zahirović, coordinator Jasminko Bijelić and representative of the Association of Paraplegics and Polio Patients Lukavac Anes Mehić, and on behalf of the Health Insurance Institute, Almira Hurić, Assistant Director for Economic Affairs and Treasury, Amila Bećirović, Medical Advisor, Muhamed Muharemović, Assistant Director for Health Insurance, and on behalf of the Ministry of Health of TK, Amir Azabagić, Advisor to the Minister.

The meeting presented proposals from the Coalition of PWDs of TK for the development of a new Decision on a single list of orthopedic and other aids and a Decision on the scope of the right to orthopedic and other aids, and representatives of the Health Insurance Institute assured that the development of new Decisions is already underway and that the proposal adopted by the ZZO TK will be forwarded to the Coalition of PWDs of TK for review before being sent for adoption by the Government of TK so that they can also send their opinions on this document.
