Vlašić, Hotel "Pahuljica" September 27, 2011. Age
As part of the project "Human Rights and Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a partnership development project" implemented by the Threshold Center for Independent Living from Helsinki, the Humanitarian Organization Partner from Banja Luka and the Information Center for Persons with Disabilities "Lotos" from Tuzla, and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland, the fifth forum of associations and organizations of persons with disabilities from Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held on September 27 at the "Pahuljica" hotel on Vlašić.
The topic that representatives of organizations of people with disabilities will discuss relates to reforms in the areas of social and health care in relation to people with disabilities - how to proceed, and introductory presentations on the aforementioned topics will be given by Elvira Bešli, Olivera Mastikosa and Fikret Zuko.
It is expected that around forty representatives of associations and organizations of people with disabilities from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina will participate in the forum.
The forum organizers hope that the discussions and conclusions will contribute to a more unified advocacy for solutions that will provide the necessary forms of support for people with disabilities, but also enable their more active participation in community life.
